I called to make an appointment and I was able to book the same day and within hours. The customer service rep and nail tech were courteous. Michelle did my pedicure- I loved her technique. For my callus remover she used the electric file on tough areas before applying callus remover liquid. After that, she used a scrubber with oil to smooth everything out. Overall I really liked the products used for my pedicure. A leg and foot exfoliation and massage was included. I loved the chair massage- its included as well. I liked the quality of slippers that are available. Check out my picture- the color is a little bright - next time I will choose a pastel.... I parked on the street- metered parking was $3 an hour . Theres only a few spots out front.

The lady who did my nails did them very quick the nail polish didn't dry so my pointer finger get came out a little misshapen but that was my fault I had never used gel polish and the machine thing kinda scared me I didn't know how u where supposed to position your hand so the machine didn't dry it. I have been coming to Nail Place for just under two years but after last nights gel manicure it felt wrong not to share my experience.

I've worn the same shade of red on my nails for over 10 years and decided that yesterday would be the day that I spice up my life.

I walked in with a crinkled photo of what I wanted mentioned a few modifications and the technician absolutely nailed it (all puns intended).

I know sometimes we try it to find affordable places to do your mani and pedi but this place has not let me down. Mimi is my favorite person for pedi and my manicure usually anybody can help you they all do a good job.

Let me first start off by saying that this review is long overdue.

I have been coming to Nail Place for just under two years but after last nights gel manicure it felt wrong not to share my experience.

I've worn the same shade of red on my nails for over 10 years and decided that yesterday would be the day that I spice up my life.

I walked in with a crinkled photo of what I wanted mentioned a few modifications and technician absolutely nailed it (all puns intended).

It's kind of sad to say but if I hated it I probably would have gone back to wearing red for the next 10 years.

Every time I come to this place they do an amazing job with the gel manicure. The past two times Tina did my nails and she spends so much time making sure they are perfect !

Honestly, it's pretty difficult for a nail salon to get 5 stars because of their service or the many employees that they have. But this place is honestly my top #1 nail salon(also because I live so close by so the convenience is definitely a plus!) I also have never waited past my appointment time and that is probably the reason why I haven't stopped coming here as well. Love that.

I only go to Emily or Kevin because they know EXACTLY how I want my shape, size, and color just by explaining to them briefly. I also have them pick out my colors for me and I always leave satisfied. They both are extremely efficient and fast, it's kind of amazing.

The pricing is a little higher than other places I go to, but with the hard gel that they put on my nails, it lasts quite a while and never tends to break.

If it is your first time here, ask for Kevin or Emily!

I'm actually sitting here right now getting my pedicure I'm so In love with this place I couldn't wait to go home to write a review. This place is amazing Cathy and Mimi are AMAZING they really know how to make you feel special. Very tailored customer service not the typical salon where they want you in and out. This will be my new nail salon they have amazing array of opi colors !!!

They always do a great job here! I would suggest calling before heading in because they always seem to be busy. With that said, I've never had an issue getting helped right away or after a short 10 minute wait. Highly recommend!

Kevin is the man!!! He did my fill and we went from long to short and not only were they so pretty they were so strong! I didn't have to go back for another fill for almost a month! The grow out didn't even look that bad!!! I was very very pleased thank you nail place LA and a special thanks to Kevin!

This place is amazing! I come here all the time and have never had a bad experience. It does get crowded around 5-6pm on weekdays with people coming right after work, but usually if you call ahead (even earlier that day) you can still make an appointment for that day - it's just tough to walk in right after work because sometimes there's a wait. They also validate parking (100% of it!) in the small plaza they are in so that you don't have to pay to park when you go there, which is a huge perk in downtown!

Cindy was incredible! Go see my girl and get your feet lookin right! Okay? She took her time with my pedicure and took extra time for my special requests I had for her. I appreciated her energy and her attention to detail with my pedicure to the cut, the amount of pressure she used on my feet. Ugh bless her soul. She gives a bomb massage too, lemme tell you!!! The place is clean, and so nicely decorated. Staff was efficient, friendly, and very professional. Down the street from my crib too, I couldn't beat that!

Great salon, they are quick but precise and the salon is always so clean. Validated parking in the garage helps. Vivian and Sam are awesome, and everybody is always very friendly.

I never ever write reviews but Emily did such a beautiful job on my nails this morning that I had to!!! I showed her a picture for reference and she did it no problem perfectly the first time around. I will definitely request her from now on. This place has always been great

I just left this place and I truly enjoyed the whole experience! I had Emily for my pedicure and I didn't catch the woman's name who did my manicure but they were both wonderful!

Towards the end of my service, they asked me if I was interested in a massage at $1 per minute and given my mood I decided to go for it. I added on $10 for a 10 minute oasis. It was so relaxing and absolutely necessary!

The total before tip was $56 which I thought was great for all the add on's. I will definitely be returning!

Today I went to refill my extensions by gel, which costs 45$. Nancy has her job done really good. She was so kind and gentle. Their service was also good: the manager helped me to choose color and gave me water( they also offer candies). I also saw how Vivian did someone's nails and I liked that so next time I'll go to her, maybe I'll like her more than Nancy;)

I've been coming here for 3 years and the only place that's does an amazing job. I've tried other places in downtown and the service is not the same. Even on busy days, they still take the time needed with every client. I go to Vivian for my mani and any nail designs since she's the pro. Amy is great and gives the best foot massage. Everyone here is awesome!

Emily is amazing!!! First off they had no wait time on a sunday after brunch time... that is amazing in itself. I brought in a picture of what I wanted and she did excellent. She asked me if I liked the shape, what color on which nail, tested out the color on me before using it. Honestly I am very picky about my nails, the tech and the shop and this place is worth 4 stars. My friend had a picture and Kevin used gold flake perfectly to make her nails great and tested the matte on her nails before doing all them. It was a great experience, will be back.

Discovered this gem in my neighborhood. Emily is such a sweetheart and did an amazing job on my nail design, highly recommend!

I have been coming here for 4 years and I will never go anywhere else! They always have the latest and greatest colors and are up to date on nail trends.

The entire staff is talented. Amy, Michelle, Mimi & Vivian are my go-to girls for manis, pedis and massages! Sam is always nice and take good care of their clientele. Best nail place in downtown LA!

I was in LA for 1 month on business and knew that I would need to get my nails done a few times. In advance, I shopped around, reading reviews online and decided to give The Nail Place a shot. They were amazing! Just like the salons I'm used to, back home in NY. They're prices are great, the service was excellent and my nails looked amazing -- will definitely return next time I'm in town!

This place is convenient for anybody working and living in or near civic center Los Angeles. It is expensive but it is worth the money. They do a great job and get you in and out.

I am a perfectionist about the quality of manicures and pedicures I get. No gaps, smooth polish, a thin, natural-looking nail, a pedicure that lasts because it is done well. I need a perfectionist who is always driven to provide the absolute BEST quality work and service when I go to the shop. VIVIAN and TONY at The Nail Place are those people. These two are the absolute BEST technicians in the entire establishment, and I've gone through a few technicians at this location to come to this assessment. VIVIAN does the manicures and TONY does the pedicures. I highly recommend both of them.

This is good spot. The workers are very friendly and do a great job on your nails. As time passes the place is growing and expanding. They make sure all of their customers are comfortable and satisfied with the work that was done.

Came here yesterday last minute and they were a little busy but still quickly assisted me, offered a water bottle and sat me down . PATRICK was very good , he made sure I liked my nails every step of the way . My shape , size and color .. he kept asking if they were okay for me . He was very quick ! Also they have underground parking but they do validate for the first 90mins for transactions $15+ so that's a huge plus !!

This is the best nail salon I have ever been to (including salons in NJ and Dallas). I moved to the west side since graduating from USC 4 years ago and cannot find a nail salon as good for even double the price.

The place is clean, the service is great and they give such good attention to detail. Even still I go out of my way to go back here (when I get frustrated with my westside nail salon search) sometimes, which is really out of the way.

To top it all off the prices are so so reasonable! I miss this place!

Outstanding! Clean and efficient. An easy Lyft ride from the hottest chicken establishment in town. While my family waited in a 2 hour line, I had time to dash to Nail Place LA. Everything about this place was great. No wait time. Friendly technicians and everybody was working hard. Complimentary bottled water too.

Van is absolutely amazing and sweet! She is very time efficient which i can appreciate and is very great at paying attention to details. I recently started doing dip nails and it's the best thing she could of recommended to keep my nails from breaking constantly.

Hands down the best acrylics I've ever had done. I started getting my nails done sporadically about two years ago but never really bothered to get fills, didn't seem worth it. After a recommendation from a friend I decided to try this place. Since that first time I've had the same set filled 3 times by Vivian and I don't ever see myself going anywhere else. Now I actually look forward to getting them done regularly and excited about what design I'm gonna do next! Vivian is so awesome and talented, I can walk in with any picture and if it's within her ability she'll do it. Her attention to detail is the best part. The studio is also clean, they have a lot of choices for gel and regular polish, and it's a very friendly atmosphere. Great music as well!

I got an eyebrow wax and upper lip.
My eyebrows were perfect! She shows you them and is willing to make any fixes you need. She's very friendly so I didn't feel nervous to speak up at all. It was also very clean before you lie down they place paper down for you to lay on similar to when you're at the doctors office. And she made sure the wax wasn't too hot

I can't wait to come back again. In my opinion the prices were very affordable too. Eyebrow wax is $15 and lip is $8. Next time I'll come in for a nail appointment.

I've been coming to this place for over a year for gel manicure and pedicure and look forward to it every time. The place is super clean and the staff are so friendly. There are lots of colors and design options to choose from and the staff is very open about discussing it with you.

I always ask for Vivian who's really amazing! She's so detailed oriented with very steady hands and gives great ideas about what best suits you depending on your lifestyle and preferences. Others such as Amy are also wonderful. Definitely worth it!

Big fan of this nail salon. I've been here ever two to three weeks for approximately two years. I have had manicures and pedicures from almost all the different staff members. And while there are favorite people I am quite sure no one there is going to be disappointing. Prices are reasonable for the area. Convenient to downtown and also have a reward program for frequent visits.

Got a gel mani/pedi. The manicure was so well done, it still looks great after several days of using my hands for heavy chores.

Nice job on my dip nails. Parking is kind of a beast, and the dip colors are super limited, but it came out pretty. If you aren't a fan of chatty salons, you'll enjoy this one. My nail tech was friendly, so I would consider going here again.

I came here this past Sunday right at 10a when they opened. I am not sure if customers were walking in or had appointments, but they were busy and efficient. I would make an appt. if you are on a time crunch.

They do have the massage chairs for pedicures which is nice and then the manicure tables and chairs on the other side.

Everyone was super nice and accommodating. I cannot remember the girls who did my manicure and pedicure, but they were very sweet. I got a regular manicure and pedicure for 35.00. If you pay cash you get a 5% discount.

It is a short walk for all the Bunker Hill residents and anyone who lives near by in downtown LA.

My favorite place in all LA for nails almost for a year. They also offer neck massage while you are having your nails done. It's amazing!

First time here and I'm very impressed. I got a gel manicure and neck massage. Michelle did both and she did a great job! I was in and out within an hour. I called day of for a last minute appointment luckily they told me to just come by. Theres a parking garage tht accepts cars at 6'6 not sure on the pricing. But I arrived a tad late and they sat me down with kindness. I think the young lady assisting me was Van, sorry I dont remember =( she was great!

I requested tips with sns nail service. A bottled water was provided soon as I sat down. My nail tech took her time, and checked in w me frequently. Her work was so clean and tidy i love my nails! She was able to shape them very close to my cuticles, best I've ever received they looked new for much longer then sns services I've had in the past.

My favorite nail salon. I'm loyal to a good nail salon when I find one. I've tried countless salons in LA and this is the best. Some technicians are more skilled than others (could also be personal preference with shaping and paint technique). My nails last long whether I do gel or acrylics. Usually 2 1/2 - 3 weeks. And they're not too thick. Nice and classy, natural looking. Even when I get long acrylics they look like my real nails.

I love how my nails turned out. Kevin is very thorough and I love how he shaped my coffin nails. I will ask for Kevin is I happen to stop by Nail Place again. Great staff. Thank you!

I walked in at lunchtime with no appointment and there was no wait! Fast, efficient, clean and a week later my nails are still looking gooooooood!

Oh my ghad this place was amazing for me, I made an appointment through the phone and they were so professional. I had lots of questions because the nails I had on were a disaster from some other place and I was pretty upset but they had everything I needed and wanted.
Kevin began with my acrylic set and he was soo good but Vivian finished them because I wanted an ombr Matt with rhinestones and pearl design, and let me tell ya, she was Amazing! The idea that I had in my head for my nails was exactly what she did she was barely finishing when I got a couple compliments from the girls next to me and they even took a picture I'm definitely coming back here ! Oh and apparently they give you a discount when you pay cash which was totally a bonus for me cause I didn't know

This nail salon is great. Free parking with validation for 90 minutes. Upon arrival they give you a free bottle of water before you choose your nail color. This place has plenty of gel color options. My favorite nail technician is Vivian, she is hard working, quick and precise. She takes the time to make sure all of your nails are even and the style you want. My friend introduce me to this place awhile back and its a hit or miss. Some of the technicians are good and some aren't. Overall though, they are not that bad. Great customer service. They are about the business here! You are in and out rather quickly which is great when you're in a rush. Good choice of color selection and very friendly staff. I had a slight issue with a gel nail color chipping off and I went in a few days later, they fixed it with no charge and she didn't even accept my tip the second go around. Appreciate the efficiency and customer service here.

I made an appointment via phone for a dipping powder. They were very nice and professional on the phone which I appreciated.
Upon showing up, I could tell that all the tables were filled but they still greeted me friendly and gave me a bottle water. There were just some dipping colors but I was able to find one that I ideally wanted.
The technician, Wendy did an incredible job! She worked quickly but with precision. She would occasionally pause and asked me if everything was okay, which is nice because not a lot of manicurist do that.
I was happy and pleasantly pleased with the results of my dipping powder and would gladly come back again.

Great experience! Came here for the first time a few weeks ago. Was in desperate need of a mani/pedi before a trip last minute. They were able to get me in right away which is always appreciated!

I love this place! I've been coming here for a few months now and it's top notch. I go to Vivian for my nails and Flower for my pedis. They are both amazing at what they do and super friendly. It was challenging finding a nail salon when I moved to LA but I'm so glad I was able to find a location that I enjoy. They even offer 90 minute free parking which is unheard of in DTLA!

Found this place on yelp and I have to say it was amazing! Walked right in for mani/pedi was made comfortable and given a bottle of water. Kevin gave me a pair of new shiny feet with the callous removing pedi and Michelle gave me the perfect clear mani. High end service at a great price! I'll be back next time I'm in SoCal.

The best thing is I have only done walk-ins and they always welcomed me and never was I sent back (the longest I waited was 15 minutes on a Friday which was pretty good)

I've come here several times when my kids have classes at the Music Center across the street. All the nail techs I've had are very nice and all have done a nice job on my nails-both hands and feet. The reason I gave it 4 stars is the price. A regular pedi with a gel mani is $58 here. I usually pay $35-40, so I'm not sure if it's a DTLA thing or not. It's very convenient and there is free parking in the parking structure underneath.

I've been to a handful of nail salons in the area and this one is a winner. They are friendly, clean, and they care! They take the time to give you exactly what you ask for unlike a lot of other salons that just get you in and out as fast as they can and rush the job. Many of the nail techs here have been amazing and I haven't had a bad experience yet. I've visited Nail Place at least 20 times and have brought many friends here as well!

This place does a great job- I always stop in when I'm in town for business. It's also extremely clean which is a necessity when it comes to personal care.

I stumbled across Nail Place -LA after doing some research for a nail salon that was close to my work. I am so glad I chose to give Nail Place -LA a chance because I have not been going anywhere else for nail services ever since! Everyone is so friendly here and they offer a wide arrange of colors for gel and polish. I also appreciate the complimentary water bottles they give their customers. They do an amazing job each time I receive services and I can honestly say I have gotten the best gel manicures here. I want to note that customers cannot leave tips through credit card transactions so if you do not have cash, the salon offers an ATM machine that charges $3.00 per transaction.

I'm a regular in nail place. Vivian is my favorite, she does an amazing full set just the way I expect. It's not like other places that you have to keep an eye on them that what they do with your nails, she knows how to do it natural.

There's validated parking (for only 45 min) but they're able to do gel manis that fast! I've never waited longer than 5 minutes, the gel lasts longer than 2+ weeks, and I loved my shape. Wonderful nail salon! I come here after work and they never disappoint! They are quick but good! I brought in my own opi color ( funny bunny) which is difficult to paint and both the lady who did my manicure, Annie and the man who did my pedicure Tony, did an amazing job. No streaks or bubbles! Stopped in here on a Sunday per positive yelp reviews after breaking my nail at Disneyland and am so glad I did! I like to do nail art but didn't have any ideas on such short notice, so Lyn showed me some pictures for inspiration and ended up recreating a design I liked PERFECTLY as well as fixing my broken nail and saving my natural length! Had a lovely and very communicative pedicure with a young man as well. Will definitely be back next time I'm in LA!

This place is always absolutely amazing. Never had a bad manicure here. I work nearby and they can always accommodate me at lunch or after work. One time I got a specialized design on my nails for Coachella and a Vegas bachelorette party and they turned out AMAZING! I am pretty sure the manicurists name was Victoria? I could be wrong.

Great spot in the heart of downtown to get your nails done. There's a parking garage which is free with validation and if you make an appointment, they get you in and out in about an hour.

I went there to get my toes done since I had plenty of time before an e ent at 6 and after a work thing on spring. HARD TO FIND A PLACE that would take me at last min no appt on a Friday at 4 . They gladly did and I was grateful and very impressed with service Thank you MiMi if I'm in LA again needing a pedicure I know who to go to. Which knowing me won't be unheard of

The place is Super cute, clean, neat, and she took me on time.
They give you a bottle of water and there's a basket full of bombons (chocolate).
Also very good price, especially when comparing to other places that sucked heavily. I'm very happy because I just moved to DTLA and I'm very picky with pedicure because I'm Brazilian and we have really good manicure/pedicure there.

I just moved back to LA from New York and have been desperately searching for a salon where the nail technicians actually know how to do real designs and where they have Cal gel. My search is finally over! I love Vivian a.k.a. Jennifer and who knows what she might change her name to next week... And who cares! Because her nails say it all!
The place is very clean and doesn't smell like acrylic which is very important for me. All of the nail techs seem to be really friendly with their customers, and it's obvious that they value their customers.

Vivian always listens to exactly what I want and then gives me suggestions about how to make it better! This is my second time getting my nails done from her and I am convinced I won't be going elsewhere. I get the Cal gel because it helps my nails last longer and it's actually really good for making my natural nails strong!

I come to The Nail Place-LA every two weeks, and Vivian consistently does an amazing job. I get so many compliments on my nails so I thought it only right that I write her a review.

I love the work they done for me here at Nail Place. The service was great especially the owner. He was very nice, keeps offering customer bottled water and snacks. The salon is spacious, bright and clean. Prices were reasonable. Jenny had done the mani and pedi for me and she did an amazing job. The salon has a great artist, Phillip, and he did a fantastic flower design on my toe nails. It looks so pretty and I got so many compliments about it. I will definitely come back and recommend to all my friend.

I'm in love with my nails. Lyn did a great job. I show her a design of how I wanted my nails done and she did closely to the design and i love. I will really recommend you to visit this place. It is a little pricy but it was worth it because i wanted to get pamper for my birthday. There is valet parking and the place is clean.

Flower is the absolute best! She's a nail artist, but she's also a motivational speaker, storyteller, philosopher, and therapist. She really takes this craft seriously and will take the time to get the exact shape you want. Nothing hasty about the process, no matter how busy the place gets.

Came in at almost closing time to get a pedicure, gel nails and lip wax. They were all very polite. They were quick but I didn't feel rushed. The massage was great and everything turned out really nice! Whenever I come back to visit I'll come here

I love Nail Place -LA. I especially love my little team of Lynn, Phillip, and Mimi. They're all AMAZING, take their time cleaning and shaping and cutting carefully. Lynn and Philip always do amazing custom nail designs and take extra care with my natural long nails. Prices are great and parking is easy and validated. I get so many compliments on my nails that I cannot live without them.

Got my first gel mani with Lynn who is super sweet and did exactly what I wanted! She even gave me a free design even though It was my first time at Nail Place. I'm looking forward to coming back.

i have loved every gel mani & pedicure i've gotten here. i think their staff is super kind and really well-trained. they're also good at what they do while also caring about the customer experience.

the prices are a bit on the pricier side ($77 for gel mani + pedi) BUT so worth the quality IMO. especially if you do gel.

they're also talented at designs, so feel free to get creative here. i usually go for an "ombre" nail look, where i paint each nail a slightly different shade of one color. they're very accommodating and even help guide me with the design :)

This place is convenient for DTLA commuters. Nice service and clean. Bill does my pedicures... he's very detailed.

I have been going to Viviane at Nail Service for years! She does the best gels and is extremely professional. The rest of the staff is also very nice and do great job on my pedicures. This is a great Nail Salon in LA. I highly recommend.

I have been a customer long enough to know I will not go to another nail salon. Not only are the quality of services meticulous and neat, the couple who run the place truly care for their customers. I am very picky with my nails. Ever since I found Nail Place I stopped looking/trying other nail salons.

Lyn and Tina have been doing my nails for over a year since I moved to LA. I wouldn't let anyone else touch my nails but them two. They both take their time to do my nails and always make sure my nails are in the right shape, edges are clean, cuticles are completely gone.

There are other people who are also good, Philip and Vivian.

Unlike some other places, girls just rush and finish each job within half an hour so they could move onto the next customer. Nail place is my favorite nail salon in LA.

Wow! Nail Place is incredible. They give you a water bottle right when you sit down for your manicure. I haven't had many manicures but they did an amazing job. My nails look crisp. I feel like a professional now. They not only did a great job but they fixed the mess the other nail place did. I love nail place la and will be back!

Ask for Lyn for manis and Tina for pedis: they are they best team! My mani lasts longer than 3 weeks and I could probably go for 6 on my pedis. Quality is very high here.

This is the place to go to get your nails done!!! I have been seeing Lyn for several years now. Couldn't be more happier with the results every single time. She's a perfectionist. They all are very professional, clean, and accommodating to their clients.

Vivian did amazing job with my tropical gel nails. I had an old full set removed and a gel mani with chrome polish and a design. She was very detail oriented and took her time to make sure that the gel and design were perfect! With the removal, chrome, and design, the total was $72, which is more than usual, but for fancier vacation nails that I can get done during lunch, totally worth it!!

I always get my nails done by Patrick! He does a really quick and efficient job and my gel nails lasts for months while still looking great. He is really fast so I always get the free parking with validation. Whenever I call for an appointment at a certain time, they always have the time available! The entire salon is super fast and efficient, and they also have a bowl of candy!! Definitely recommend!

I am a salon owner and former nail salon owner... so I can tell when a business is ran properly .... I love the way this salon is operated.... I work across the street so I stopped by here on a Friday after work to get just a regular manicure. I called ahead to see if there was a wait and they said 10 minutes! Not bad for a Friday! When I walked in, the man registering me offered a pedicure too .. and I gave in and went with it. During my mani/pedi they offered a 10 minute shoulder massage and I gave in to that, too. Clearly it's hard to sell me on things

All together, I got a $35 mani/pedi with callous removal (+$7 extra) and a 10 minute shoulder/neck massage for $52 total! Not bad. The quality was great and I'll definitely be back!!

Another thing to mention- I have very dry, painful, cracked heels and their callous removal did wonders for my feet. I'm really sensitive to letting people work on my feet from many previous bad experiences but this was wonderful!

I drive over an hour to get my nails done here. I've been getting my nails done here regularly for over a year--regular mani/pedis, gels, hard gels, acrylics, everything---and have put my nails in the hands of nearly all of the nail techs. On only one occasion have I had a slightly misshapen acrylic, and it was promptly corrected when I asked.

The nail salon is clean and relaxed, even when busy. If you don't have an appointment with a particular nail tech, there might be a person or two ahead of you. I've never made an appointment and have never had to endure any extraordinary wait time.

In browsing previous reviews, I see that some people were unclear about prices. What's included vs. what's extra is a problem I find at many nail salons, too. I think that the employees have taken those concerns seriously: for the last several months, the employees have made it a point to tell me what is extra and exactly how much extra at every step. If you'd like clarification, be sure to include all the details about what you want when you sign in, like nail length, shape, gel, that weird chrome trend, etc. They're happy to help.

Very professional, customer service oriented people! Gives you water and parking validation. Plenty of colors to choose from for regular polish, gel and chrome! Nail designs too with rhinestones if you wish. I always have a pleasant, and relaxing time at their place for mani/ pedi, full sets and fills, you name it. I have been coming to this place for about two years now. I started with the nail tech Flower but it was always hard to book last minute with her so I stopped being picky and went with any nail tech available. They're all good but Flower is better hahaha. So I went back to booking appts instead of last minute calls.

Tips: make an appt before hand. Try to go Wednesday's or Sunday's which are not as busy. Tip them well, they will remember you. Pay cash instead of debit/ credit card. Use their stamp rewards card!

Parking lot behind is available, validation for like an hour and a half.

Was looking for a new nail salon after my move to the Los Angeles area. I LOVE my nails every time. I get gel mani and pedi and they do not chip! Soooo happy I found a place that has consistent product & service! Amy and Tony are the best!

Read about this salon on yelp and decided to try it out. Everyone in the salon was very nice, there was free parking with the validation and I walked in at about 4:30pm on a Friday and they took me right away! Philip did my nails and he was nice, gave me and my boyfriend who waited for me and got to sit beside me a new bottle of water. I got a gel that was $32 when I paid with cash and $35 when paying with a card. Overall, great place and experience! I will be back soon!!

I really love Nail Place! I'm the kind of girl that needs her nails and pedicures. I have tried mainly different places in LA but out of all of them this place is my favorite. It's always busy so it's best to call and make an appointment first. And of course the early hrs are best to stop by if your trying to just walk in bc by the evening they will be way busy.

I really like how great there customer service is. They'll try there best to get your nails and feet done at the same time if they have ppl available so that you can get out of there. They offer you water and offered to charge my phone which was almost dead. This place is really pricey I guess for the average person. But to me it's worth your money. Your nails will look beautiful and last as long as they should if not longer and not break or mess up as quick as some of the other places I have tried.

Tina is the best! I have short tiny nails and she doesn't get the polish on my skin, is gentle, and kind. She takes her time and works hard and is the sweetest! Only reason didn't give 5stars is because it's not the cheapest

I have been here several times for a mani pedi. I have even brought the boyfriend and brother for a pedi. The place is very clean, organized and the staff is professional.

- they have OPI colors in matching gel and regular nail polish
- accept card but offer a discount if you pay cash (ATM machines located in the shopping center)
- located in a shopping center with a parking lot around the back which they validate
- they make appointments and stay pretty true to your time
- STAFF does NOT gossip amongst themselves or yell across the room in their language!!! YAY!
- they have massage chairs for NO additional charge and regularly offer you bottled water

I wish my shape was done better, but the color and design was done by Lynn... she did exactly what I was asking for!. Phillip did my pedicure and it was amazing !!!. I have new feet !. My friend was having problems with her shape and Sam was on it to make sure her experience was much better !. I would come back to see them for sure

My husband and I were walk-ins and waited about 10 minutes, which was amazing considering how busy they were. I got an eyebrow and lip wax by Lianne and she did a great job. The attention to detail made me feel pretty and special. I also got a pedicure with a foot massage and the guy who did that was pleasant as well. They really seem to care and take pride in their work. Parking was easy and they validate.

Went back after a year and a half to give them another chance (only because it's a 2 minute walk from my apartment). I had a great experience here this time, I didn't get acrylics because I'm giving my nails a break. I got the regular Mani/Pedi and it was wonderful!

Manicure//

Lynn (maybe Lyn or Leann not sure) was so nice and asked me how my day was going and if I was comfortable. She was very sweet and talkative and was never too harsh with my hands. She took her time and did 3 coats of regular polish without even asking. I loved that because 2 coats of the color I got would have been too sheer. She gave me a nice 3 minute arm/hand massage for no extra charge, and the lotion she used smelled so great! Would definitely recommend her!

Pedicure//

Flower did my pedi, and even though I had to wait a bit for her to come, that didn't matter to me after how good of a job she did. Usually when I get pedicures at different places they're really rough with the scrubbing and leg massage to the point where I'm in pain! Flower was nice and gentle so it didn't hurt one bit. We had a really nice conversation during my time there. She also put 3 coats of polish which was wonderful. She took her time and was very meticulous with my toe nails. Would also recommend her!

Customer Service//

As soon as I walked in I was greeted nicely with water and a chair. I had an appointment but not that many people were there anyways. I was seated in a chair right in front of the TV and they had a Moschino fashion show on TV so I was greatly entertained! They were also playing great music, probably Top 40 radio or something. I had to wait probably 10 minutes for a technician after I was seated but that was fine with me since I was watching the fashion show. The owner (I think) kept walking by and asking if I needed anything which was nice.

Price//

Decent priced nail salon. I got the regular Mani/Pedi which was $35, but since I paid with cash it was $32. That's great for the service I got! They do have more pricier things on the menu though.

I was in a dire need to get a mani/pedi so I called this place since it had pretty high ratings and it was close to my apartment. They said there was no wait if I came now, they validate 90 mins of parking and they accept credit card so I just went for it.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and saw an almost full salon on a Saturday afternoon. Luckily there were about 2 seats open and since I didn't make an appointment, I was relieved to arrive just in time. (The salon filled up as I was getting my mani/pedi and I believe about 3 parties were waiting at one point.)

The salon has a rack of polish to choose from but it was very disorganized and messy. No order of brand nor color so it took me a while to look through and find a color I liked. I ended up opting for a bright hot pink for my toes and a light pink for the mani. Both were OPI from the Hello Kitty collection.

They have the massage chairs here which I love. It's honestly one of my fave reasons to even get a mani/pedi. They also provided a bottle of water which was very thoughtful considering how hot it was outside.

They had 2 people work on me at the same time - one for my mani and one for my pedi. Both my technicians were good. The one who did my mani was super quick. I felt like my nails looked a little bit streaky as she was struggling to work with the polish (it's an opaque color but applies sort of sheer so maybe that's why) but she did a good job shaping my nails. I know it's only customary to put 2 layers of polish but I think I would've been happier if she did 3 layers so that the color would be more even on my nails. It was super busy though and she had another customer to attend to so that might be why she rushed through my mani. The tech working on my pedi was less rushed, She took her time to shape my nails and clean my feet up. Both technicians were very nice though. They put these mini fans to help me dry my nails when they were done. They also applied some cuticle oil which I felt like was good since not a lot of other nail salons do that. I was just enjoying my massage on the chair while my nails dried. After a while, the owner/manager said my nails were probably done and he helped me slip my feet into my sandals.

Overall, I feel like the service is good here and the price for a mani/pedi ($35) is very reasonable and the location is convenient, especially with the validated parking. I'm very pleased with my first impression and will look forward to coming back again. Now I just have to see how long my nails last before it starts chipping!

Nail Place in Downtown LA will do any nail design you ask. The staff is accommodating and extremely personable. While getting your nails done, the atmosphere is very relaxing & swift. I went in for a manicure and pedicure, and wanted French tips on my natural nails. Flower did an amazing job! I showed her a picture and got exactly what I wanted!

I am fairly new to LA and saw that this place was about half a mile from my apartment and had good reviews. I walked in without an appointment, and was seated right away even though they were pretty busy.

The staff was friendly, and Flower really took her time to make sure my nails were shaped perfectly and painted beautifully. She chatted with me and made me feel comfortable the entire time.

The only down side was that it was a bit pricey. I ended up paying $65 for the manicure/pedicure with French tips. I got gel on my nails and regular polish on my toes. I also left tips which brought my total to $90.

I usually do my own nails, and it had been about 4 years since I've gone anywhere to get them done. I can't do French tips, and wanted them done for my cousin's wedding, so the price wasn't too bad, but I wouldn't spend that much on a regular basis.

I'm giving them four stars because they were very nice. The girl who did my gel manicure did an amazing job. My pedicure was awful and the polish was not smooth. It was ruined almost immediately. My real issue though is the price $57 for a gel manicure and pedicure so with tip I paid $67. That is crazy! I don't know who only put two dollar signs. This place should absolutely have 3 dollar signs.

Love this place. We live in DTLA and it's hard finding the perfect nail salon. We decided to give this place a try. They are super attentive. Patrick did my pedicure and he actually took his time to massage the right spots. This is definitely our new to go spot!

Want a fast mani-pedi with zero attitude? You found the right place. I arrived on a busy Sunday, five minutes early for my 1130AM appointment. I was promptly greeted and asked to please wait 10 minutes. I was given a bottled water. At exactly 1135AM, I was seated. By noon, my mani was expertly finished by Philip, who does a killer "shiny buff." Tony did my pedicure. Both technicians were thorough and gentle, kind and caring, never causing me any pain. Although they were speedy, I did not feel at all rushed. Before doing the callous removal (which was excellent), Tony inquired, "Ready?" Wow, great service. And it's reasonably clean, with comfy newish massage chairs. 90 minutes validated parking under the shopping center. Great location in downtown LA.

I LOVE this place! I went today for the first time and will be going back hands down. They are so nice and want you to get exactly the manicure you want. I got gel with designs and am in love with it... For $39 I got the mani of my dreams! :)

This past weekend I was celebrated with a bridal shower that began with a visit to The Nail Place. I was extremely pleased with the service we all received. They were very patient and took their time with each of us and it was several. My bridal party, addtl. friends, and family. They were friendly, the place was clean, and they were very accomodating to all of us. I did not get the feeling of being rushed out like some salons do. I appreciated receiving quality service!!!! Super friendly, really thourough and clean. They do take their time so I wouldn't come in if you're in a rush. To me that's not really a bad thing though. Prices are very reasonable and you can make appoitments online.

I love the nail place! It's very clean and they have a ton of gel colors to choose from. I see Flower and she always does an excellent job. My gel manicures usually last longer than 14 days with no chipping or breaking (they just grow out). I had a gel manicure last 18 days once! Flower is very attentive and always does everything in her power to make sure I'm comfortable and taken care of. She is always very sweet and has funny stories. I just love her! Leanne is great too! They are very reasonably priced and will validate parking!

Dropped in today for the first time after reading their yelp reviews. Was greeted by a man as I signed in, and he handed me a bottle of water. I picked a nail color and was serviced immediately after that. Sally did an amazing job on my acrylic fill, and she was able to shape my nails to perfection! Tammy completed my pedicure and she was amazing! Overall very nice, new, clean salon. Extremely relaxing and all of the nail techs were extremely polite. Also if you pay cash you get a discount! Will definitely be back as a regular customer every two weeks!

I can see why this place has 5 stars. My first time here. Two very sweet and talented girls gave me a mani and pedi and it was perfect. They were quick, very pleasant and provided quality work. They also give you water when you walk in so that was nice :)

I have gone to this salon about a half dozen times since it opened. It is still a very clean salon and you know how dirty salons can get within the first few months that they open. They are extremely good at keeping this place clean. They always give you a bottle of water and they are vey precise with their technique. I will go back regularly!

This was my first visit and I was really pleased with the results. They had a great range of colours and did a great job at getting the length and shape of my nails just right. The nail technicians were all lovely and courteous. Offering customers a bottle of water on arrival is a nice touch. I will definitely visit again.

I've been searching and trying different nail salons near my home and my job with no luck. This nail salon was clean, easy to find and conveniently located minutes away from home.

The salon was beautiful decor, friendly employees and a great nail techs. The one who assisted me was Sam, who ensured all my concerns were addressed, ensured I was comfortable and satisfied. He made a suggestion for my nail color to last longer since I mentioned I was a mom. Totally cool!
Most nail techs at other salons just ask if you want a design over and over again! (Annoying!) & they hardly talk to you.

Anyway, I'm recommending this to my girls!
It's a little higher in price but like they say "You get what you pay for." Totally worth it!

Was in the DTLA area and looked at Yelp reviews. So pleased with the service and my nails! I came with a picture of what I wanted that I showed them on my phone. They had all the necessary tools and products to make it happen. The validated parking is also a plus since spots are hard to come by in DTLA. Highly recommend for nails!

This nail salon is amazing!!! It's clean the staff are really friendly and Sam hooked it up. I did the gel nails and one of them broke the next day, so I came in and he didn't charge me. Said it was free!!! Great service!!!

I'm going to make this short. I've been going here over a year and I have never been disappointed. Sam does my gel manicures and Kim does my pedicures. Sam is a perfectionist and my manicure will last up to four weeks and still look good. The salon is clean and attractive, as is the restroom. The only thing they need is a receptionist/host rather than have the manicurists taking on that extra burden. Hospitable and they validate for parking. It's all good. The cost is competitive with other good salons.

I absolutely love this place! It means a lot to me when a business recognizes repeat customers and they always say hi and ask how I've been when I come in. They are very meticulous and clean and always very attentive. Definitely my go-to place.

I forgot to get the woman's name who did my pedicure but she was extremely meticulous. I randomly went to Nail Place because it was one of the only salons open on July 4th and I was very pleased. I'm very picky with my manis and pedis, as one of my best friends is one of the most sought after celebrity nail stylists in LA so my standards are extremely high. I'm VERY happy with my highlighter orange pedicure!

5 stars!! As a newbie in DTLA I am still scrambling to find all my beauty go-to's. I was able to locate many nail places but wasn't blown away by any. I stumbled upon the many GLOWING Yelp reviews and after reading them felt compelled to check the Nail Place out. Everything from the cleanliness of the salon to the customer service to the prices to the 90 MINUTE VALIDATED PARKING makes this a no-brainer!! My nails look great and feel strong. Also my pedicure was awesome and you know that point when they have the pumice and it feels almost uncomfortable and you are squirming in your seat? My pedicurist didn't do that - it felt softer yet still effective and she applied some cool blue exfoliant gel thing to my feet as well. I even met a couple there who drove 20+ minutes to get there!! Stop yelping and go!!

The service is awesome. In town for a convention needed a nail repair, they were so professional and friendly i stayed for a pedi and a massage. If nail place was in St Augustine if would be my absolute new favorite.

I am so happy that this place opened up on 1st and Hope!!! I live in The Promenade so it's amazing to have a place like this downstairs. I went there for the first time today and I waited only a few minutes. I had my eyebrows done and they look great.

I had my acrylic nails done in O.C. with a girlfriend, but had to go to Sam a couple days later so he could reshape, shorten, and clean them up. My nails look so much better& I'm much happier.

Flower is the BEST at gel manicures! And she is just all around nice, welcoming and has cute stories about her kids. The salon is super clean and they have tons of color of gel. Flower always gently soaks the gel off instead of using the grinder and my nails have never felt stronger. I have been pleased with every service I received there and I can't wait to go back this week to get a fun design for New Years. This place is the best!! And they give you a bottle of water or green tea when you get there, it's a really nice touch :)

Bonus!! -The salon is in a nice clean centrally located plaza. Complimentary water is handed to you as soon as you walk in! You should def. Make an appt if you wish to request someone in particular. However they do take walk-ins. I walk there and feel very safe. The service price of a mani or pedi, each come with a 5 min massage. $5 xtra for an extra 5 mins. SOOOOO worth it. I've been more than 5 times since I've moved to the neighborhood a few months ago and each time I've got a gel mani with a spa pedi. I've been with my husband, I've been with my girlfriends. Service is the same either way. Consistently good. If you're looking for a great new nail shop, you've found it. -The One Thing: the one thing I wish I could avoid here is the loud talking amongst themselves in their language. i think i've gotten pedicures from almost every girl and all have done an awesome job... except there was 1 time where the polish wasn't right BUT it was completely redone to perfection. they do their best to make sure you leave satisfied.

I wanted to try a new nail place, a place that actually knew what they were doing. I went to Yelp and saw that this location had 5 stars and most of their reviews were awesome! Saw a couple of pictures and liked what I saw. I called to make an appointment and were very nice over the phone. And as soon as I walked in the employees were very welcoming and helpful. I kind of had an idea of what I wanted from the pictures I've had seen in Yelp. They had so many gel colors to choose from! This place definitely deserves their 5 stars!!!

I LOVE Nail Place! It took me such a long time to find a nail salon that had the perfect combination of traits I was looking for: skilled technicians, reasonable prices, large gel color selection, relaxing atmosphere, and massage chairs. I kept finding places with one or more of these perks, but never all of them in one place (I'd find a place with comfy massage chairs that gave sloppy manicures, or a place that did great nail art but had weirdly uncomfortable benches). In short, I felt like Goldilocks and the Twenty Nail Salons, until the fortuitous day I stumbled upon Nail Place...

and it was Just Right. In fact, it not only matched all my qualifications but exceeded my expectations. They have a wonderfully extensive selection of gel polish colors, and they also have all kinds of fun add-ons, like extra fine glitter, decals and 3D decorations. Once you choose your polish, you're given a free bottle of water and a comfortable chair. The massage chairs for the mani-pedis are amazingly comfortable, and you're given a fluffy pillow to rest your hands on and a relaxing spa bath for your feet. The lovely and genuinely friendly people who work here really go above and beyond to make sure their clients are happy, comfortable and well taken care of. Every pedicure comes with a wonderful exfoliating leg and foot scrub, followed by a hot towel rub, and every manicure comes with a trance-inducing arm and hand massage. I've received gel manicures from several of the employees here, and each one has done an excellent job. I've even had some fun with their glitter options - try an ombre glitter manicure over a fun gel color for an instant pick-me-up. If you become a regular here, they will treat you like family. I always get a warm welcome. Parking in the building is free with their validation (provided you don't get carried away in the massage chair for an hour afterwards ;-) ), and they give you a loyalty card entitling you to a free manicure after every twenty. Next time I go, I'm going to do something special for my upcoming wedding, and I'll make sure to take a photo of the result and share it here. Thank you for being awesome, Nail Place!

Had a really great experience here! I had the deluxe mani-pedi and it was amazingly thorough. I left all exfoliated and moisturized with a really great polish job. The customer service was also very nice. They brought me bottled water, they ask if the massage is too rough or too soft, and the whole place is really clean and nice.

Good magazines, lots of polish options (standard, gel, shellac, etc.), and there's validated parking for 90 minutes in the alley behind the shopping center. But make a note that tips are cash only!

I've gotten my nails done three times in the past two months by Patrick, who is incredibly patient, gentle, and kind despite my problematic nails and particular taste. Parking is easy and free despite its busy surroundings, and a free bottle of water is provided when you walk in the door. I have been in DTLA for a number of years and have been on a secret quest for a nail salon that was not pretentious. I finally found it! The salon is very clean, the ladies are nice and do an amazing job, and overall, it is exactly the experience that I was looking for. I highly recommend the salon over the others in the area (Neihule, Salon on Main) because it has a similar atmosphere to those salons that you would find in your hometown - and I mean that in the best way possible. As an added bonus I even got the most amazing neck massage with my service. I will definitely be back!

I'm definitely a fan of this place. Their prices are high, but that is what you need to pay for luxury nail services. The prices for nail art is never cheap. I'd rather pay for something that I know will last 2-3 weeks. My nail technician was really good.
She used some special gel on my nails that many places don't carry due to the expensive quality and that its sent straight from Japan. She was very detailed and creative. Can't wait to go back

I really enjoyed my experience here. Right when I sat down, I was given a bottle of water, my massage chair started (and he kept re-starting it without me having to prod him!), and a pillow placed on my lap. I felt like I was having a spa day.

In particular, John, the guy who did my gel manicure, was amazing! He really took the time to do the manicure well and did the necessary steps to make sure that my gel polish lasts as long as possible. A lot of other places skimp on all the prepping, which is why your gel manicure doesn't last at least two weeks. He was super sweet too, unlike many other nail artists. I will definitely be coming back.

P.S. They have a matte top coat, meaning you can pick ANY color they have and make it matte!

It is SO hard to find a good nail place and I think I've found "the one". I had such a great experience here with my boyfriend! We came in right before the rush but were seated right away and were given water! They were not pushy like my past experiences in nail salons to upgrade to "callous scrubs" or this or that.

My girls who did my toes and manicure were so meticulous and careful with my nails. I loved it. I am coming back for another gel in about two weeks :-)

GREAT experience!! They made my day :))) I've been in the Stanley Mosk downtown LA courthouse all week for a trial. My nails looked like CRAP and my feet were totally beaten up from heels and pointy toed flats. On a whim I looked on yelp for a nail salon nearby after court, and found this nail salon. It is literally walking distance from the courthouse (and Disney Hall btw) Being from Orange County I drove the block and a half of course!
Two great gals helped me: "Flower" did my nails, and "Tammi" did my feet. I have very sensitive skin and I appreciate so much that both ladies were soooo careful and gentle. It became really relaxing, once I realized how gentle they were going to be.
My hands and feet look amazing!! I got gel on both:)) Flower even put an extra coat of base coat and 3 thin coats of hot pink gel on my nails so the bright color would really pop, and it made a big difference! Tammi fixed up my soon-to-get ingrown toenails just perfectly too :))
The salon is airy and pretty and everyone there is super positive, sweet and accommodating, NOTTT frantic like some nail salons get. It was peaceful and relaxing.
If you drive, parking is just behind the plaza, off 1st St. Easy valet and the salon validates. They take most credit cards (except for tips) and there is an ATM right outside the salon. Doesn't get any easier than that!!

This place is awesome! I was able to make an appointment online and as soon as I arrived, I was seated (after I picked out my colors, of course). I was also provided with bottled water.

I had a gel mani and spa pedi...total was $61 (there's a discount when you pay cash). There's a ton of colors to choose from - whether you're doing just "regular" nail polish or gel. I didn't catch the owner/manager's name, but she was very helpful with making sure you were getting the service you want (sometimes there was a slight language barrier, so she was there to help provide clarification between me and the nail artist). Two ladies worked on me and both did great work. They were both friendly and I didn't get that feeling that you get from some salons where the nail artists are talking about you in their native tongue. (Yes, you know what I mean.) I'm planning to go back soon for a facial!

There are six spa chairs and about four mani tables. When I went (Wednesday evening), there were eight nail artists working. Everything was clean, sterilized and professional.

The parking structure is located behind the Nail Place and the Nail Place will validate your parking. The parking area is a block west of Hope St (Bunker Hill). You can then take the stairs or an elevator to the "2nd" floor to the level where the Nail Place and other businesses (Subway, Tutti Frutti, a coffee shop, etc) are located.

Jon took my idea and gave it life this morning. My little piggies are very happy! I don't think I have ever had squeaky clean feet like today lol. And each toe is perfectly shaped, not something that is paid attention to all of the time, but Jon did. Thanks again Nail Place.

I love the flexibility and ease in getting in & out and it's so close to home that I don't have to mess with parking. There's a coffee place next door, sushi, Subway sandwiches, and a vegetarian restaurant. All the eateries are great to grab a snack before or after an appointment. Appreciate the free water and short wait times to get your nails done. Thank you!

I absolutely love this place. From the time you make an appointment to the time you leave after the services, everything is great! Everyone is super friendly and wanting to do anything for you.

I came here for the first time and they did a great job. I made the mistake of not making an appointment when I needed a full and went somewhere else. Even the other place I went said that my nails looked very beautiful and they asked where I got them done. They even went as far as asking why I wasn't going back to the same place for the fill!! That place ended up completely messing up the great job Nail Place had done initially. When I came back 2 weeks later to Nail Place for a fill, they completely brought my nails back to life and I wasn't embarrassed of them anymore!

Never again will I go to another shop. I don't think it's overpriced or underpriced, but I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for.

Like many of us, I have been to many nail places around Los Angeles. Nail Place definitely stand out as one of the best I have been to. They have eared my repeat business for sure!. They are clean and professional and offers great customer service, great attention to detail and are low pressure on the up-sells (although they do ask). It seems like a very well run place. They offer you water upon entering, which is a great touch.

Clean and fast. Everyone seems to be really thorough and fast. Lots of colors to choose from. Gel mani and spa pedi w/massage chairs.

I had Flower and Joan do my hands and feet. I've never gotten a Mani Pedi before. They were soo nice. I had a hard time understanding their English though. But the job they did were ok compared to the other photos on yelp. Let's see how long it will last because I paid $65 bucks for the deluxe. It better be long lasting.

Pretty good nail place. I have to say I've been here about 3 times and so far the service staff is very attentive and nice. Although you do need appointments cause they get really busy and trust me you will wait long. Good color selections too. Parking in underground and validated.

First time here and I can't say enough great things. I didn't really wait they buffed my nails for gel instead of filling them down. They have a super friendly staff and they do quality work. My new go to spot!

I love it here! It's my go-to place for an amazing gel manicure with or without design. Everyone from the manager to new employees have always been so pleasant with me. I've had several employees work on my nails and I've always left very happy with the results. No one can compare because I have tried other places and they fall much lower to the nail job Im given at Nail Place =)

First here and I was great. They greeted me and offered me water. Which I haven't found any other nail salon that does that. Flower did my mani and she did a beautiful job. Johnny was friendly and did amazing french tip for my pedi. It's a Friday didn't even wait to get seated. I would highly recommend this spot.

I have to start by letting you know that making an appointment is recommended and fairly easy. While I was getting my nails done, the salon filled up. Use the appointment request module on the website or call in. I got a same day appointment.

The salon was super clean. Everyone there was nice and 'smiley'; a nice touch in comparison with some other places. I was greeted and got my nails done by San, the owner. He's awesome! He was nice, professional, helpful. He took time to find out exactly what I needed done.

I got gel nails put on (builder gel/hard gel/liquid gel by IBD); French style with white tips (suggested by San). This gel system is an alternative to acrylics and is much more delicate. I knew this when I went in.

Six days after I got them done, more than half of the nails are lifting and/or cracked. I'm not quite sure what the cause would be. Gel not thick enough? Tips not well sealed with the gel? Gel and tips don't go well together? Too delicate for typing all day?

Whatever the cause, I did not want to give Nail Place a bad review. They took care of my sister, niece and I, and I wanted to say thank you to San for seeing me so quickly.

Nail place never fails to deliver on a clean, precise and long lasting manicure and pedicure. The staff is polite and friendly, not overly pushy or gossipy. Even though it's more pricey than my local hood spot - you get what you pay for, feel pampered and have color that lasts twice as long!

Since my initial first time visit review I've become a regular. Over a year now of getting my nails done here and all the employees are still incredibly nice and professional. The salon is always clean and it's impossible for me to find any fault. I even want to say that the prices are low. Tina is who I always ask for, and who I would recommend to a friend, but the other manicurists are also very good at what they do. I leave with perfect nails every time.

This place is so great!!! John did my toes, he does great work very nice and pays close attention to detail. Flower did my nails, she helped me pick the color and she made sure that I was very happy with the end result. I will defiantly come again when I'm here on LA.

Easiest to make an appointment since they are busy after work hours and on Fridays. I had a great experience. Very comfortable chairs, the absolute nicest, sweetest employees, and an excellent manicure and pedicure that has lasted the longest I've ever had. I paid more than my old nail salon but it's well worth it. You don't at all feel like another pile of cash that they want in the door and out as fast as possible. They really did make you feel pampered.

Bonus: the best damn hand and forearm massage EVER.

Yes!! I found Amy!! She used to do nails at Nail Service and I was devastated when I found out she was no longer working there. She was always the best at gel nail designs but thankfully I found her again. I've been going to Amy for years and she never disappoints me. I just bring in a picture of the type of design I want and she always makes my nails look awesome. She's very detailed and good at what she does. I usually get pedicures by someone different every time and haven't been disappointed with the service. All the nail technicians are qualified and do great work.

I've been to tons of nail salons for gel manicures and have spent $80-$150 for good gel manicures, thankfully with Amy gel costs around $35 and design is usually around $10 more so it's literally half the price of what I've paid at some other salons. I also get a cal gel base (to protect my natural nails and that's $10 extra) So I can get a mani/pedi for the price of one manicure at another salon. Love nail place! It's new but they've already started getting busy so make an appointment! They validate for free parking in the garage for an hour as well.

This is the first nail place I've been to since moving to LA and I don't see the need to find another. I've been here 4 times so far for a gel manicure and each time it has turned out great.

Great selection of colors, I always do something very natural/nude, and it actually lasts....sometime more than two weeks. Parking is validated, price is great. Super convenient location to me. I couldn't ask for more.

Hands down the best nail salon I've visited in LA. Super clean inside unlike most of the other places I've been. Got my full set 2 weeks ago and it still looks gorgeous. Plus they have so many jewels/decorations for your nails :)

I had a great first experience with this salon - and they were able to squeeze in my friend and me same day, at the lunch rush. We requested gel with a design from a previous reviewer's picture and they turned out beautifully! The pedicures are also very detailed and well done. I'll definitely come back.

My cousin was actually the one who recommended this nail shop...and I gotta say I love this place! The location is convenient to get to and also there's validated parking. The staff is very friendly and listens to what you want done. They also offer you a free water bottle every time you visit. The shop also has a variety of nail polishes to choose from including gel. They're prices are pretty reasonable especially for the quality of work they produce. Been to a fair amount of nail salons and by far this is the best one I've been to. It's definitely worth checking out!

Updated to increase to 5 stars. I've been back several times since my last review, and the service level has remained consistently high. It's also nice to get a quick 5 min shoulder massage while you're waiting for your nails to dry!

I just recently started coming here because the trek from downtown to Hollywood for my usual nail spot was getting ridiculous. I usually almond shaped or stiletto acrylics but I'm very picky about the shape so I was scared to hate them. :/ I went with a normal gel manicure and pedi. I was very pleased, they shapes and cleaned everything to my liking, asked multiple times if the shape was ok, which I loved. All of the techs are super detailed and friendly, unlike most places downtown.

I continue to get my mani/pedi here every two weeks and am never disappointed. I saw a couple of girls get shaped acrylics yesterday sooo I may be ready to try their acrylics out.

Oh and they validate parking, winning!

This place came recommended to me by my boyfriend's sister. I love it! They're affordable compared to other places I've seen Downtown. They carry all the best brands of Gel Color and regular nail color. The ladies are very nice and the owner is always very helpful. He offers water or tea every time I come in.

They provide validated parking in the garage behind the building. When I go, they remove my gel, pedicure, manicure and new gel for about $60 and done in about an hour and a half. They last very long, the only problem is my nails grow too quickly so I come here every 10 days. I would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends.

When you don't get your nails done by some nice Vietnamese ladies, you can't be sure you are getting bang for your buck. Sorry to say, but it's my peeps, and we do it proper.

Nail Place is the first affordable, Asian-run nail place I've found in DTLA proper. It's located at First and Hope, in the plaza with a few bars/coffee shops, across from the Ahmanson/Disney Concert Hall and LADWP.

I've never had any trouble at all with getting in for a quickie appointment. The ladies are friendly, but not over-chatty. The owner wants to help his customers out, so provides free validated valet parking down the alley off 1st. Just bring your ticket in and get it validated. They also give free bottles of water, and a frequent visitor card ($10 off after 10 visits).

It is pricier than somewhere in OC or the inland empire, but they gotta make downtown rent! It was $7 for a callous treatment, and $32 for a mani-pedi (non-gel). They have plenty of colors and varieties of polish. They open up sanitized tools for each new customer. Very reasonable, competent, clean, quick, and nice! Would highly recommend it!

I've been to Nail Place around 8 times now. This is by far the best nail salon I've been to in Los Angeles. So great, in fact, that I decided to write a review which I almost never do.

They are so happy, welcoming and helpful. They remember my name and ask me about my life. They genuinely care about their work. It's truly a breath of fresh air. And, to make the experience even better, my nails always come out great.

Great customer service! They are all so nice! Flower always does my pedicure- she takes her time and always does a great job! Free parking with validation and complimentary waters and chocolates. Their prices are also very fair.

Came in to get a pedicure and lo and behold, I was happy with the end product! :) Plenty of colors to choose from, SUPER clean facility, sweet and friendly staff. What more could you ask for? Plus, I had to come back around again to fix my pedi (because I ruined it a little from working out right after haha), and the lady who did my nails, re-did them without complaints. Yay! Will be back around again if I'm in the area!

This place completely exceeded my expectations and lives up to its impressive 5 star average on yelp. The customer service was fantastic and the location is really nice, sterile, and well kept. The chairs are very comfortable and they provide complimentary bottled water. They also offer free parking.

In terms of the services, I had a gel manicure with designs done by San, and the result was exactly what I wanted and it also exceeded my expectations. San is very meticulous, gave my nails the perfect shape and did an incredible job with creating the look I requested. He is an amazing artist! I will post an image, but to give you an idea and what image to reference, the look included a variation of a french tip with black and gold and an extra gold line underneath the tip, along with a solid gold ring finger with black bows attached. He even suggested adding glitter to the gold areas which really added and made the look pop. I also got a gel pedicure with Deena, the look for that was a simple solid black but was done with care and executed very well.

I'm a perfectionist and I can honestly say this is the best manicure and experience I have ever had. I have never been so satisfied with a manicure. The employees really take pride in their work and are very talented. Along with their talent, they are very sweet and care about their client's happiness. I will definitely be returning here again and referring this place to others. This place beats out everyone else in Downtown and most nail salons without question!

We came to LA for a photo shoot for my daughter and we were early and just had enough time to get her nails done and we went to two places before coming here. They squeezed her right in and they are Sooo nice. Flower did my daughter's nails and we told her we were doing a photo shoot and were in a rush and she rushed for us and still did a wonderful job. Very nice place in a nice area with good prices. If we lived here we would come back.

Great job doing my nail art with gel! Bring any picture and they will do it perfectly!! Loved it! I come to downtown few days a week and was looking for a good place to get my complicated design done :) so went in here and showed them the pic which was from this Japanese nail studio and they don't it done perfectly! Couldn't be happier :))
P.S make sure to park downstairs or call to ask for the parking because if you don't they you would have to pay for parking. They do validations

There are massage chairs that I relax in while I get a mani/pedi. Nail Place offers complimentary bottle water. The staff also gives you a hand and forearm massage as well as a brief calf massage with mani/pedi.

The Nail Place has two tv sets on the wall to keep its guests entertained. It's next to Prime Grind so customers can grab a cup of coffee.

This place is awesome. I just moved here and it's been a while since I had my nails done and I'm really glad i found them. They accommodated me even if i just made an appointment like 30 minutes before the set time. Awesome gel manicure and pedicure and they are very nice and friendly. I'll definitely be back soon.

I've been to a number of nail salons since moving to LA and this place is hands down my favorite. It's conveniently located only a few miles away from me and is pretty cheap, especially since they give a discount if you use cash. They have a good selection of colors; the customer service is great; and the quality of work is amazing. They make sure I'm happy with my nails every step of the way. They even validate for parking, which I greatly appreciate since I hate having to find and pay for parking in LA.

As usual, Sam has given me the most perfect gel nail/acrylic manicure job ever! Just the way I like it. PERFECT. Tammy give me a neck and shoulder massage. Even with her small hands she really knows how to dig out all the knots. Jenny was excellent with my gel spa pedicure.

The funniest thing about today was that a totally spoiled 16-year old daddy's girl rich kid came into the salon and was talking very loudly on her cellphone so that everyone could hear, "Daddy??? did you pay my cell phone bill?" and then "Dad,.....if I dont' get this.... or don't get that... I'm gonna take the next plane outta here......". Where does this type of behavior come from? Funny at first and then after a while.... its appalling. Poor Sam, he had the lucky draw of having to deal with her. Finally I went over there and said to her very firmly and with a smile, Sam is THE BEST! You've got 'DA BOMB" here. Look at my nails. He just did mine! She smiled and shut up.

Everyone here is really really good they all can do anything and everything....... I am very Happy with the service and lasting mani and pedis! And now just got a full set and gel almond shape with design! Love it .... I am a regular now! Also very clean... Most importantly! They are all really good at what they do and are fast. Hard to find a good thing like this in downtown la. So happy we have one! I don't have to drive out to the suburbs for Beverly Hills to get quality like this. Thank goodness bc when I saw them open the shop I had my fingerscrossed : ))

This salon is CLEAN, fast, and they do quality work! I've had manicures, pedicures, nail art, acrylics, and get finishes, and always get compliments! They work fast if you come during lunch and they are still open after work and on weekends. They also have 90 min of complimentary parking and give you a bottled water upon arrival. Prices are very fair and they have an excellent selection of nail colors.

Sam, Johnny, Cindy and Amy are all very talented! I always leave here satisfied and am so glad to have found my new go-to nail salon!

I found this place after bring semi satisfied and jumping from nail salons for different treatments. Nail place has been my go to place for almost a year. (I get my nails done more then the average person.) Sam and his crew are AMAZING I almost don't want to share. ( but they deserve the praise and exposure) They always do a great job, everything is on point, my nails are all symmetrical (little OCD, so it's nice) and everyone is super friendly and actually listen to what you want. This review has been long overdue. Been coming here for about a year or two since I moved into my apartment building down the street. This is definitely my go to nail spot and they never disappoint! Always clean and thorough as well as the staff being very friendly and accommodating. They even help me transition out of acrylics to my own healthy, natural nails and doing just gel manicures now which is definitely cheaper. I even bring the bf here when he wants and mani and pedi. Love this place!

This is the first nail salon I've visited since moving downtown. I used to have a favorite on the westside where I could get a gel manicure and spa pedicure for $40, but I was sure that I couldn't find such a good deal downtown, so I'd refrained from getting my nails done for over 6 months.

But after a weekend in vegas wearing evil heels and then going to yoga and being embarrassed at the state of my exposed feet, I needed a pedicure.

Nail Place was great! They were busy when I came in, but I was greeted immediately even though there were three other girls who'd come in just before who were trying to pick what colors they wanted. When I picked my color, I was seated immediately at a comfy spa chair. My nail tech was Sally and she was super nice. She got me a water bottle and did a wonderful job on my nails. She shaped them well and painted them perfectly, and then afterwards went over them again with a brush and nail polish remover to make sure there wasn't any rogue nail polish on my skin.

The salon was super clean so that was very nice. My pedicure was $22 + $7 for the callus removal scrub. They had a cash discount, so after that my total was $27. Looks like I've found a reliable salon for when I feel like pampering myself and getting my nails done!

Great quality and service! Staff is extremely friendly and all feels and looks very hygienic. Slightly priced than average nail salon, but for downtown, you're paying for convenience, hygiene and quality- love this spot! Plus, they have a loyalty customer stamp card. In addition, they offer validated parking off of 1st street- hidden, valet style kind of. They are very accommodating and do a great job! Extremely clean and filled with hard workers. Flower is one of my favorite people there, she's sweet and does a great job!

I just moved to DTLA and was looking for a nail salon as close as possible to home. There's always hesitation when going to a new nail salon and not knowing which nail tech would be the best fit for you. I was assigned to Jenny on my first visit a few weeks ago and not only is she the sweetest person, she totally shaped my nails evenly and perfectly to how I wanted! Yesterday, I made a last minute appointment and requested Jenny and they were happy to accommodate me at about 5pm (thank goodness because the salon filled up quickly after that).

I love getting my gel manis here because they last longer than any other nail place I've been to. I think it's because the manicurists always take their time and make sure the nail is prepped appropriately before applying the gel. I noticed they take extra time to make sure that each layer is even, which also probably makes it last longer. I don't mind shelling out a few extra bucks knowing that my mani will last a long time. You get a small discount if you pay with cash, but they accept credit cards as well. The parking lot for the plaza is free with validation.

Truth be told, as of late, I have not been happy with my experiences at nail salons.
I used to really like this place on 7th that has little pedicure pods and served me wine, but the last couple of years, their work quality has started to...well...suck.

This weekend, I wanted to treat my young friend to a mani pedi while treating my own tootsies to some love. I got out my Yelp app to see if there was any place besides my former go to spot to give a try. Lo and behold, Nail Place pops up.

90 minute free parking, reasonable pricing, clean and welcoming space...that all means nothing compared to the really nice staff and AMAZING work they do. None of that upselling nonsense and they take their time and make sure they do an excellent job.

I will now be making a point to bring my pedicure business to this business, even though they don't have free booze - and THAT should say something right there.

Best nail salon I've been to! Patrick is amazing with my acrylics - they look so real and so up-to-date! Flower gave me a fantastic pedi and leg/foot massage. And Sam the manager is fantastic - attentive and friendly. Everyone here is very friendly...great atmosphere!

A little pricey, but still worth it. We walked in and were greeted by bottles of water. And thank God--walked up the hill nearby and we were more than a little sweaty.

We'd made an appointment so we were seen right away. They have tons of colors, including colors for shellac. John was my guy and he did a great job. I was really sleepy from flying in that morning, and he got it. He didn't try to make conversation, which I really appreciated, and just let me be. Plus, they had the TV on and I learned quite a bit about elephant veterinary care through Zoo Docs on the Discovery Channel. Can't. Beat. That.

My nails look great, even after going to the beach and in the pool. Would definitely go back.

This is a very clean salon, has spa/massage chairs, numerous colors to choose from - from OPI to Essie and other brands included. The nail place is little pricier than what I am normally used to paying for, but overall worth it for the convenience and the ability to walk in without an appointment.

As you walk in, you're immediately greeted and if they're not busy, they'll be seating you as soon as you find the color(s) you want, including gel. Also, as you're waiting or seated, they hand you a bottle of water. I really love the fact that this salon is quiet. No one is really talking that loud. The TV is on silent with captions. Not like some of the salons that I've been to where the workers are gossiping the entire time, in very loud voices and across the room.

They actually take off all the old nail polish, I've been to places where they leave residue (well considered that they do scrape off your excess cuticles and all. It's been almost a week - and my manicure still looks great.

Parking, enter in on first street, right across from DWP. Valet only, but Nail Place covers the entire time you're there. I tip the valet $1 or $2 just for bringing my car around.

They're in the same location as a Subway, Tutti Fruitti Frozen Yogurt, Bikrim Yoga and a credit union.

Don't forget to get your stamp card - after 10 visits, you get $15 off your next appointment, which works for me.

This nail salon consistently does a crisp good job. The shop is so pretty and clean. They have good parking. The staff is accommodating and quick. Their massage chairs are very comfortable and they do wonderful massages. I've been to a lot of places in LA to get my nails done but for a very reasonable price, this shop does an amazing job.

They want you to use cash and give a "discount" if you do. I paid $25 for a regular polish fill since I didn't have any cash, and they didn't tell me there was a Chase ATM just outside until after I paid.

On the bright side, my nails look awesome and they do validate underground parking. I went around 11 am and was able to be seen right away. I'll likely go back.

Came here to get myself a new set of acrylics for the first time. Showed her a picture of how I wanted them and they came out exactly how I asked. Couldn't have been more pleased! And they were so sweet too!

Do recommend getting there early though. Went in 15 mins after they opened and it was already full!

I live right next door to Nail Place and I've been coming to this salon for awhile now. I am long overdue for a review! Every manicure/pedicure I've had here have been fantastic! The manager (I think his name is Vic?) is so sweet and accommodating. Every nail tech that I have had are super nice on top of it.

I went in today for a half moon gel manicure with Flower. I am very satisfied with how it turned out! She gave me some suggestions on how to make the manicure really stand out, which she was spot on with. Prices are very competitive as well.

So overall, I am thrilled that there is such a high quality nail salon that's a stone's throw away from my house. I will not be going anywhere else.

I genuinely love this nail salon. Prices are decent and the quality is wonderful and meticulous. Validation is included in the parking valet behind the building. HOWEVER, I feel like I need to share this. I have visited this salon three times prior to finding out that they have a stamp card for every service you do. After the 10th service, you get a $15 discount. I wish I knew about it earlier, but now I do. Also, pay with cash! You get a $2 discount (still something, right?)

So, LADIES AND GENTS, make sure you get your stamp card :) !! Might as well, right? Especially if you're a regular here!

Nail place was so clean, and very nice. You could enjoy your mani/pedi without a ton of noise. I got a pedicure and a manicure at the same time. Very attentive, got a bottle of water. Great color choices. Recommended things to me, and i'm very glad they did. Great chairs! I'm very particular about having a relaxing time, and it was such a great place to spend a few hours on a Saturday. Highly recommend this place!

Baby blue spa remote controlled chairs that are in good working order. I prefer the use of disposable plastic liners in buckets to the jacuzzi spa ones but they didn't offer that here.

One of the things I look forward to while getting my nails done is the massage. Massage here was practically non-existent. I'm sure if you paid more you would get a longer one.

Ladies are very nice and pleasant here. Although up sales are your typical. Quality of work is very good and clean. Layers of paint and gel are applied evenly and thinly.

They do an amazing job with nails, my gel manicure lasts almost a full 3 weeks every time with little to no chip. They also do a full pedicure with a scrub and massage that feels great!

Their color selection is very diverse as well :) Definitely making this my "usual" nail salon.

This place is the BEST for gel manicures I have come across thus far (and I've been to my share of nail salons around so cal). I've gotten them done twice here and my gel manicures lasted well over the generally expected 2-3 weeks. For both times, they hadn't chipped at all, I got so many compliments on the color (first time burgundy, second time a darkish red-ish) and they looked so clean and perfect.

It's in a convenient location if you work around here. They are really friendly; even if you call 10-15 minutes before you want to come, they will save a spot for you so you won't have to wait! Having a busy schedule, this is really beneficial! A sweet perk is that they offer you bottled water or hot tea while you are getting your nails done :)

What a gem!!!! I'm so glad that I found this place!!! SUPER easy underground parking that will VALIDATE in downtown LA!!!! This was the first place that popped up with amazing reviews near my work. It was 7:20pm and I was desperate to get a gel manicure and pedicure. However, going to a place that did excellent work was very important to me. The guy who answered the phone was friendly and told me to come in asap. They close at 7:30pm according to the hours posted but there were several patrons by the time I arrived at 7:45.
This place is clean and the vibe seemed relaxed. Usually, you are pressured to pick a color quickly, but as I was looking over the 5 reams of countless plastic fingernails with the sample colors on them, the technician that would be working on me came over and PATIENTLY helped me to find a color. Wow!! That NEVER happens.
Michelle did my gel manicure and Tina did my gel pedicure. When 2 people work on you at the same time, I feel like the technicians are rushing to get done with you so that they can either move on to their next client or in my case, to hurry up and go home. They weren't like that at all. They each took their time meticulously and gently prepping my nails. You can just feel when someone is trying to do their best. They were also friendly & not overly chatty. They allowed me to relax and enjoy the experience. I also liked that they weren't pushing additional products or services.
I am SUPER PICKY about the shape of my nails. Michelle filed my fingernails rounded how I like them and they were ALL even!!! My big pet peeve is when my two big toenails are uneven. It drives me beyond crazy!!! This will just ruin the whole experience for me. I just simply asked Tina to make sure that my toenails had the same horizontal edge. She took on this job so seriously!!!! She constantly looked between my 2 feet to make sure each nail mirrored that of the other foot!!! I LOVE THAT!!!!!

I recently found this place near my apartment. I am always skeptical about new nail places, but I really needed to have them done. I've now been a few different times and they are great. They do a really good job, they are kind, offer customers water, and have good prices. I would recommend calling ahead and scheduling an appointment. They do well at accommodating walk ins, but they do get pretty busy sometimes.

I, like the previous Yelper, just moved from New York City to Los Angeles, and was SO happy to have found Nail Place - LA. I got my acrylic full set done elsewhere and wasn't happy (it was lifting and peeling after only a few days). Henry to the rescue! He secured, re-shaped, and otherwise madeover my nails and I'm incredibly happy with the result. And I'm an unabashed diva about this stuff!

I was looking for a new nail place, looked at the work they had done. What can I say... extremely happy with my choice. They were very welcoming, gave me water while I waited. Philip and Jenny did my nails. Highly recommend.

This place is so friendly and nice! We walked here to get our nails done after visiting the Broad and I wasn't disappointed by the skill level or kindness of the staff. Upon entering, we were immediately given a bottle of water by the owner and we were able to get all three of us seated within 20 minutes. Definitely call and make an appointment early if you have a schedule as this place can get packed!

I didn't get the name of the lady who did my nails but she was great. She listened to what I wanted my nails to be shaped like and what I wanted them to look like. They came out exactly as I desired.

I think one this place is rather expensive compared to what I'm used to and although I had a great experience, I don't think it's worth that added money. My manicure was $17 without tip added. I'm used to cheaper places where I'm from. Also, pay with cash if you have it! There's a discount for it (usually $1-2 less).

This nail salon is amazing! I came here earlier this evening unknowingly ten minutes prior to closing and I was greeted so kindly and allowed to get a manicure and pedicure. The salon staff took their time working on my nails even though they had to stay past closing and I greatly appreciated that! My nails always look perfect every time I visit this salon and they take great pride in the quality of their work and customer service!

This place is fantastic!!! I got a gel manicure from Lin, she is so nice and talented, a real artist! And an amazing massage from another gal. Definitely coming back! Prices are good too. And they do cash discount!

My wife has been getting her nails dine here for a couple of years now. They do a great job every time you really treat her well. It's a little bit expensive probably not above-average and price compared to lots of other places in Los Angeles. I always have a bottle of water and something to eat available if you want.

When a classy woman needs a manicure she gets a manicure because the manis must flow - that's how it works in my mind. Walking around with unfortunate nails it's very uncomfortable so I do not do it.

Should the need arise for some good times finger loving, I visit Nail Place - LA for a little hand pampering because I love the look of exquisitely beautiful nails.

People often compliment my mani for its pretty-full high-powered look. I have nails that command respect! I can literally point one of my twelve perfectly pointy manicured fingernails and the citizens at the clandestine compound kowtow to show their reverence!

I've been staying in DTLA and needed to find a new nail shop instead of driving to OC. A friend was visiting and we decided to go for gel manicures. Found this place on Yelp and called and they said they could take us. They were accommodating when we were a little late as well. We each got gel manicures. My friend's manicurist was Flower. Mine was Amy. They were both awesome! I'm always hesitant to go somewhere new, but they both did an excellent job. They have a lot of gel polish to choose from, and Flower gave great recommendations for color. Plus, she's hilarious! Parking is free in the structure underneath for an hour and a half with validation. They also have a punch card program for frequent clients. I will definitely return!

Lynn was amazing, I'm one of those people who can never make up my mind about my nails and I came in with multiple photos of what I wanted for Holiday Nails and she helped me make a cute design that I'm super happy with and even better than the original photos! Their regular manicure is $17 and nail art is $8 per nail, they didn't charge me for my glitter nails and they gave a discount for paying in Cash so it was $30 which is really fantastic

Great place! Lin was great she did my gel nails and she really did a good job in them. The place is initially hard to notice and the parking took me a while to find but they validate and once you see the public parking sign it's easy from there on :)

I recently moved to Echo Park and wanted to find a new nail place near my house, I tried out a few in the area and this is my favorite! Everyone is really friendly and the work is amazing! I have gotten acrylics with design done from Vivian and they last over a month! I also did gel with on my real nails after I took off the acrylic and Lyn did a phenomenal job! She is great with design work! I highly recommend this nail shop!

These people are probably the nicest people who do nails in the business period came in here on New Year's Eve and they're packed but they moved quickly and they are very kind to help out. Of course they always tell you to pick a color or choose your color from the selection of gel nail.

The plethora of neatly arranged color selection is easily chosen even in my blurred vision. It's amazing how efficient everyone is they are are very sweet and I would definitely come back here !

I think they're really clean and even though they are under pressure on this particular day, they're helping you look beautiful and pretty for your loved one or help you look or feel better about yourself.

Parking is easy and validation is done right here in the shop don't forget to validate otherwise parking cost a lot more.

I absolutely love this place! I've only ever gotten my nails done with Henry, who is amazing and has done work for celebrities. If you want this look, ask for almond/natural shape. I always ask for thin and natural looking. Not all nail technicians know the craft and know how to handle acrylic. A+.

Went here after deciding rather last minute that I needed a manicure before a wedding. I don't live in LA and so relied on Yelp to find something close to the hotel... So glad I did because I loved my results. The only thing keeping Nail Place from 5 stars is that I made a reservation and still had to wait for 30 minutes.

That said, they were awesome. I have short PAPER thin nails and was interested in trying CalGel to help them get stronger and grow after some articles I had read recently. They were so nice about dealing with all my questions about the service and after some brief confusion (they thought I wanted tips and apparently you can't do CalGel with tips) I got a base of CalGel to help protect my nails and then a gel mani on top. Everything with a half moon design ran me $48. Steep but less expensive than I was expecting and with the half moon, hoping they grown out well! YAY!

So happy I finally found a good, clean and reasonably priced nail salon in DTLA! They have convenient parking underground, jut remember to validate! Price for a gel manicure and regular pedicure is $58, $55 if you pay cash.

Be sure to make an appointment. I came at 2:30pm on a Wednesday afternoon and they were extremely busy. Thankfully, I had an appointment.

Whenever I'm here, I enjoy my time and my results. Every single time! The environment is clean. The atmosphere is generally quiet, and the people are amazing. No one is rushing through your appointment (whether you have one or not). My nails tend to grow very long, and I am very specific about my nail shape. Yet none of the technicians seem bothered by it. They will listen and offer great suggestions. I've been to other salons where I try to be specific about what I want, and they either dismiss it or don't take it too well. Everyone is aware of their specialties and skill set, and don't mind referring you to someone else who may do a better job for your particular need. But everyone is pretty much great! With that said, when I do go elsewhere (because of time constraint or distance), I end up regretting it. It can be a bit pricey, but I rather pay the extra money to be satisfied. Love them!

Loved the service, the place is busy, but you never feel rushed or not taken care of. Lynn did a wonderful job. Kind of pricey, but totally worth it. They validate parking which is a major plus for the area. Will definitely be back.

I just moved back to LA from New York and have been desperately searching for a salon where the nail technicians actually know how to do real designs and where they have Cal gel. My search is finally over! I love Vivian a.k.a. Jennifer and who knows what she might change her name to next week... And who cares! Because her nails say it all!
The place is very clean and doesn't smell like acrylic which are very important for me. All of the nail techs seem to be really friendly with their customers, and it's obvious that they value their customers.

Vivian always listens to exactly what I want and then gives me suggestions about how to make it better! This is my second time getting my nails done from her and I am convinced I won't be going elsewhere. I get the Cal gel because it helps my nails last longer and it's actually really good for making my natural nails strong!

Absolutely love this place. I usually always have my favorite nail tech who I go back to religiously.. but this place is so great, I enjoy every girl here. Owner is always on top of it, and greets you with a water as you walk in. My regular manicures from here always last 6-7days without even a chip.

From the location to the excellent customer service, this Salon is a champion among many. Henry and Lynn treated me like a Queen from head to toe, literally. My nails have never been so beautiful. Henry was quick and masterful in crafting my full almond shaped gel set as a canvas for Lynn to do her magical design art. Both technicians were friendly and took great pride in their work even though it was the end of a busy day and I was the last one to leave. They were packed on a Thursday evening but laughed and joyfully made every customer feel special until closing. What a great atmosphere, fast, professional and pleasant service with state of the art equipment and highly skilled technicians. My dream nails became reality here! Then off to Dinner right next door at my fav Vegan gourmet restaurant Au Luc to show them off. Who could ask for anything more?!

This is a one stop shop! So pleased to find them! Henry does an incredible job with my almond shaped nails and then Lyn with her polish and nail art skills, it's absolutely incredible! It's the little things that make us so happy, so it's nice to find a place that does top quality work for a reasonable price. I also get all my waxing done here and she does an amazing job!

The best part is if you get validated parking underground and while you get your nails done you can get a carwash! Just make sure you're there before 2 p.m. week days.

My nails were done perfectly and just how I asked. And they've lasted a long time. I was a walk-in on a Saturday afternoon and my wait wasn't too long. I'll be back.
